Velara
Dance Artist Portfolio2026About project
Velara is a modern portfolio website template designed for dancers, choreographers, performers, and movement artists who want to showcase their work with clarity, confidence, and style. Built around visual storytelling, Velara combines elegant layouts with a clean structure that keeps the focus on your craft.
Perfect for showcasing reels, performances, collaborations, journal entries, and professional experience, the template provides everything needed to build a compelling online presence. Whether you're an emerging artist or an established professional, Velara adapts to your journey while maintaining a cohesive and contemporary look.
The template includes thoughtfully designed pages, reusable components, and CMS-powered content management, making it easy to update works, journals, events, and videos as your portfolio grows. Built with performance, accessibility, and responsiveness in mind, Velara delivers a seamless experience across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.
The approach
Velara was designed for performers whose work is inherently visual, so the layout keeps imagery and video at full scale and lets typography stay quiet: an elegant serif for headings against generous white space, and a grid that adapts from full-bleed reels to editorial detail pages. Motion is used sparingly, mirroring the subject: transitions feel choreographed rather than busy.
The template ships with thoughtfully structured pages and reusable components, and every collection, from works and performances to events, journal entries and videos, is CMS-powered so a dancer can update their portfolio without touching the design. Framer Marketplace review requirements around responsiveness, accessibility and performance were addressed before submission.
The outcome
Velara was published on the Framer Marketplace as a complete portfolio system for movement artists: a cohesive, contemporary look that works across desktop, tablet and mobile, with the flexibility to grow from an emerging artist’s first reel to an established professional’s full body of work.
