Nicolai Sorensen
Portfolio website2025About project
Nicolai Sørensen is a top Danish WordPress website developer who, with a colleague, designs and builds high-performing websites across WordPress, Webflow, Shopify and Framer for brands that value results over trends. He came to me for a sleek, modern personal portfolio built in Framer: a digital presence that reflected his premium craftsmanship, an elevated personal brand and a clean visual identity.
Three challenges shaped the brief. His previous site lacked a distinctive premium feel, so the new one had to convey high-calibre work without gimmicks. It needed structure and clarity, presenting a large body of work without overwhelming the visitor, with clear case presentations and intuitive navigation. And it had to be fast and easy to edit, so Nicolai could add cases and blog posts himself without hand-coding.

The approach
We started by defining his value in one line, “No buzzwords. Just results.”, and let that discipline drive the design: minimalist in feel but structurally rigorous, with every section, animation and interaction mapped back to a purpose. The visual identity uses deep blacks, clean whites and subtle orange highlights to signal sophistication, focus and warmth.
The site is built from modular sections, Hero → Stats → Showcase → About → Blog → Contact, with a hero that leads with a bold statement and a direct call to action, a stats block (15+ years, 1,600+ clients, 14.4% average conversion), a showcase grid of selected cases with hover interactions and category tags, and an About section built around his story and values: “No agency. Just two sharp designers and a network.” Case study pages follow a “The situation → The solution” storytelling layout. Services, pricing, testimonials and FAQ sections complete the picture, with a contact overlay as the lead-generation prompt.
In Framer, the site was built fully responsive from scratch with CMS collections for cases and blog posts, so content can be added autonomously, and animations, image loading and micro-interactions were tuned so nothing lags or janks on desktop or mobile.

The outcome
Delivered between June and July 2025, the final site presents Nicolai not just as a website designer but as a premium, strategic web partner; visitors feel the professionalism, clarity and high-end orientation from the first scroll. The modular, performance-focused build means he can update his portfolio, blog and contact flow without relying on outside developers: a refined digital presence built for longevity, conversion and brand elevation.
