Dayo Venn is a Framer Marketplace portfolio template built for digital creatives including designers, developers, and art directors. The template was designed to feel like the work of a senior creative, not a generic portfolio starter kit. It prioritised personality, case study depth, and visual confidence over conventional portfolio layouts.
The approach
Dayo Venn was built with the understanding that digital creatives need a portfolio that feels as considered as their own work. The template avoided generic portfolio tropes like hero images with CTA buttons and instead led with personality and work from the first scroll. A modular case study layout allowed buyers to present projects in a structured, readable format.
The outcome
Dayo Venn became the portfolio template that demonstrated the ability to design for a peer audience: digital creatives who have high expectations and can immediately tell when a template lacks intention. Its success validated the approach of designing templates from the user perspective first.
